Intern Pursuit will be held in-person at UCF’s Pegasus Ballroom on the first floor of the Student Union on October 8, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. for members and 6:30 p.m. for nonmembers. Quotes members who have paid their dues have first access to employers, and an extra 30 minutes. Before you attend, here is some information on what to expect.

What is Intern Pursuit? Intern Pursuit is the largest internship fair for communication and media students hosted by Quotes every semester. Opportunities are available for a variety of fields, not just advertising or public relations. Quotes is committed to connecting talented interns with high-quality employers, and this is the perfect space to do so.

What can I expect on the day of? Employers will have tables around the Pegasus Ballroom. You can walk around the room, introduce yourself, hand over your resume, and give a short elevator pitch about yourself. Employers love hearing from students.

What time do I arrive at Intern Pursuit as a Quotes member? Quotes members can enter as early as 6 p.m., but we recommend arriving earlier to beat the line and check in at our member check-in table with ease.

How do I know which employers are attending? Our Employer List will be made live on our website before the day of Intern Pursuit. Stay tuned on social media to hear when the list goes live!

What do I wear? Attire is business casual. For more information on the best attire, you can attend the IP Bootcamp for extra tips and advice!

What do I bring? All you have to bring is yourself and paper copies of your resume. Feel free to bring any other self-promotional materials, such as business cards. We recommend bringing 20 resumes. Printing is available for free at the printing center of the UCF Library.

What will employers ask? Employers will typically ask questions that you typically hear in an interview. For example, “Why are you interested in our company?” or “Have you interned before?”

What are some good questions to ask employers? You can ask employers questions like, “What do an intern’s daily responsibilities look like?” or “What skills could I learn from this internship opportunity?”

How do I prepare for Intern Pursuit? We suggest attending our preparatory events: Rockin Resume Workshop, Intern Pursuit Bootcamp, and Resume Roundtable. These events are a great way to gain insight into the event, what to expect, and how best to prepare yourself.
