There’s an App for That! Creating Engaging Video, Graphics and Images with Your Smartphone

PR people wear a lot of hats. When that list includes videographer, photographer or graphic artist, will you be prepared? Thankfully, there’s an app for that! In this hands-on workshop you’ll learn about the must have apps for the tech savvy PR pro and receive hands on training in how they can help you shoot video, take pictures, build graphics and even edit it all together into a killer video complete with soundtrack. Bring your Smartphone and join us on October 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. as Devon Chestnut, APR, CPRC leads this interactive half-day training.

Devon R. Chestnut, APR, CPRC

Devon Chestnut is the communications manager for Cox Communications, a broadband communications and entertainment company, providing advanced digital video, internet, telephone and home security and automation services. Devon’s role includes managing Cox’s Southeast Region internal communications for an employee base of approximately 1,900, working within the states of Florida, Georgia and Louisiana. She also plays a pivotal role in several national company projects and initiatives. In addition, she supports the region’s community outreach efforts for Cox’s Ocala market.

Devon serves on several boards such as PACE Center for Girls, Leadership Ocala/Marion Board of Regents and Marion Cultural Alliance. She is a graduate of Leadership Ocala/Marion Class 22 and Leadership Gainesville Class 37.

A native of Ocala, Florida, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications and earned her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) in 2012 and Certified Public Relations Counselor (CPRC) credential in 2016.
